Directions to Decatur BBQ Festival From Talley Street

The annual Decatur Barbeque Festival happens this Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 4 pm - 10 pm. Officially known as the Decatur Barbecue Blues & Bluegrass Festival in Harmony Park of the Oakhurst area, this festival is less than 2 miles from Talley Street Atlanta lofts for sale. Here's how to get to the BBQ festival from Talley Street Atlanta lofts. Walk to the Avonadale MARTA Station and hop on the train going East. Hop off 2 exits at the East Lake MARTA Station which is about a half a mile from Harmony Park. Exit to College Avenue which is the south side of the station. Go across the parking lot to the East Lake Drive and Park Place intersection. Follow East Lake south directly into Oakhurst. You are sure to hear the music and smell the BBQ. If you decide the half mile is not worth walking from the East Lake station, you can always catch a ride on a pedicab by Easy Living Pedicabs for a $5 charge. How nice is that?
